Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!
This is a belated a post I know but its actually the first chance I've had to get to an Internet connection for a while. I spent my Christmas with the family in Sheffield before Katie and I spent New Year's Eve in a hot tub in Cambridge. It was a fantastic experience to live a bit of luxury especially during these gloomy times.
As it is tradition with the arrival of a New Year to set resolutions I have done the same but I won't bore you with what I intend to have done by this time next year. However I have devised a way of making sure that they get done. Based on the idea that males perform better at completing things by setting goals and targets I have made a list on my Google homepage which is my default home page in every browser I use. This means that whatever computer I have regular use of will remind me of the things I have not yet done.
Despite all this however my main priority at the moment is landing a new job as soon as possible. There is even more of an urgency for this matter as it turns out that our flat mates are not only moving out they are emigrating to Oman which will undoubtedly put the rent up. Since Katie and I like the flat we would like to stay but we're not keen to have anybody we don't know moving in so we're going to have to afford it with our own incomes. This should be possible but the sooner I get some revenue the happier I'll be!
