These boots are made for.... skiing

I've bought some (very expensive) ski boots! My first ever and damn do they look pretty!
The reason I've bought them is because while rented boots do the trick they can get very uncomfortable after a few days as they have the most generic design and after about 400 people wearing them they lose their shape. These on the other hand are moulded to my feet (which turned out to be both flat footed and high arched) and are exceptionally comfortable. They're also designed for my skill level with room for improvement up to the level when it will probably be time to buy a new pair. But for the time being, they are my favourite new toys! Can't wait to try them out on the white stuff! Only a few months to go!
On another note, we (myself, Katie, Steph, Ad, Neil and Suzi) went to see Dylan Moran at the Hammersmith Apollo which was great fun. I have his other performances on DVD which I hoped would accurately reflect his average performance. We were not disappointed even when he had a bit of an unexpected hiccup when he said, "Gay - now thats a word thats been though many hoops" and after a moments pause cracked up himself! Thanks to all who came along and making it a really good night!
